When Shirogane sees Suzu attempting to kiss Matsuri, he uses being at a distinct shrine as an excuse to cut them off. After the fight with Hinojiki, who inadvertently undid the Gender Bender jutsu afflicting Matsuri, the latter tells Suzu that he needs to do something whereas he's a man before the jutsu kicks back in.
